PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Philip qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and has been with Clark Willis since 1998. Philip has worked as a family solicitor since this time.
SPECIALISMS
Philip specialises in family cases particularly those involving children. Philip works with parents who are in dispute regarding children as well as children who are subject to Local Authority involvement. Philip will represent both children and parents in proceedings issued by a Local Authority. Philip also represents many clients who have been the subject of domestic abuse and is known to be friendly and sensitive to his client’s needs.
AREAS OF INTEREST
Philip is particularly interested in complex cases involving Local Authority intervention and will represent his clients with skill and dedication at often very difficult times in their lives.
ACCREDITATIONS
Philip is a member of the Children Panel which is a specialist accreditation for representation of children in Care proceedings. Philip is also accredited on the Law Society Family Law Panel in respect of children matters between parents and domestic abuse. Philip is also a member of Resolution, a membership group of family law practitioners.
