Louise joined the firm in November 2020 from Coles Solicitors in Northallerton and is working within the Wills & Probate team dealing with Will writing, Estate Administrations and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Louise has a wealth of Private Client experience across North Yorkshire.

Louise specialises in Estate Administrations (Probate) but can also undertake Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills.
During her career, Louise has assisted many families to resolve legal affairs following a death, including estates with a rural, agricultural and international elements.
NOTABLE RECENT CASES
Louise has recently been involved in:
- Acting on behalf of Attorneys to obtain Letters of Administration to a deceased siblings estate for the benefit of an incapacitated client.
- Advising and writing Wills for clients approaching retirement that involved changing the ownership of the family home to tenants in common and including trusts over the respective shares in the property for asset safeguarding.
- Undertaking a Deed of Variation to an estate to amend the terms of a Will in the resolution of a dispute.
- Assisting in the appointment of a new Deputy withe the Court of Protection to act alongside the existing Deputy for succession.
