Role: Paralegal Family Department
Location: Darlington
Hours: Full Time

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join our busy Family team at our Darlington office in August or September 2025 with a view to then commencing a Period of Recognised Training (Training Contract ) with us after demonstrating their ability (within 6 months) and with a initial focus on Family work. Applications from paralegals or current law students who finish higher education this summer, who are not yet in a position to start a period of recognised training but are working towards this will also be considered.
The ideal candidate
- Qualifications to enable the Period of Recognised Training.
- Have a desire to qualify into Family law (though not essential).
- Will have excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner.
- Someone with excellent organisation and time management skills

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a paralegal to join our busy Residential Property team at our Northallerton office with a view to then commencing a Period of Recognised Training (Training Contract ) with us within 6 months after demonstrating their ability and with a focus on Residential Property work. This role would suit a candidate that wished to qualify as a solicitor in property law and work in Northallerton. This role will be based at Northallerton but may require a period of training at our Darlington office. Applications from paralegals who are not yet in a position to start a period of recognised training but are working towards this will also be considered.

- Qualifications to enable the Period of Recognised Training.
- Have a desire to qualify into Residential Property.
- Residential Property experience preferred.
- Will have excellent communication skills and a good telephone manner.
- Someone with excellent organisation and time management skills
